PostHeaderIcon # 1 weight loss tip

Healthy lifestyle coach Erin Huggins shares her number one weight loss tip.

Hey there, I am so inspired to help people reach their weight loss goal. I have lost over 20 pounds and I want to help you do the same. Helping people lose weight naturally is one of my biggest mission in life. I know how frustrating weight loss is because I’ve been there. My weight loss approach is completely holistic. I teach what I did to lose 20 pounds and keep it off for 13 years. I want to show you that weight loss is not a mystery. Weight loss is simply a matter of the right conditions coming together. Your weight loss goal is EASY if you have all the right ingredients. You have to think about what you will gain from losing. Stop thinking about your weight loss goal and start thinking about the benefits from your goal. This is VERY important. To many people only focus on the big picture weight loss goal and they dont focus on the steps or the conditions that will make weight loss inevitable. This is crucial to your success. I can not stress this enough!

Ok, so I went off on a little tangent there. Natural nutrition is so important. Whole foods, and natural foods from the earth will get you to your goal. You have to start to care for yourself by eating and preparing whole, organic and natural foods whenever possible. When you do this weight-loss is inevitable. And this is what you want.

PostHeaderIcon What is the only NATURAL food that does not spoil?

There really is only one natural food that will not spoil.

Honey darkens with age and becomes a bit stronger in flavor. But it will not spoil.
Honey will keep indefinitely if stored in a sealed container. It is best stored at room temperature. Refrigeration promotes granulation, but it doesn’t spoil it.

My grandmother had jars of honey that she had stored when she was first married – and we used them after she died at age 92. After warming it a little, they were perfect.

PostHeaderIcon Natural food for cats with stuvite crystals?

Is there a natural food for cats with stuvite crystals which recently have been removed. The vet wants her on Feline c/d which has by-products and I really don’t want her to have but I don’t want her to get crystals again either. I thought maybe there would be a specific natural food for stuvite crystals.

Hi there! I don’t know of a natural food. I am a Veterinary Technician and I work in an animal hospital. I do know that c/d is the best food for an animal who has had crystals. I would suggest listening to the veterinarian. The only other option is to ask the Vet if there is anything she/he knows of. But my recommendation is to stick with the c/d. Is it hills diet?

PostHeaderIcon How do you sweeten natural baby food?

I decided to make all of my baby’s food natural by baking & pureeing his fruits & veggies. Seems like the applesauce has too much of a tart taste to it. He’s refusing to eat it. He used to eat Gerber applesauce with no problem. Thanks!

Maybe add some apple juice to it?

PostHeaderIcon How do you go about a Whole Food, Natural Diet?

I have been having many stomach problems, & decided to try a new lifestyle of eating only natural foods. Where do I start? Can someone give me an idea of what my meal plans would be like on a regular basis? Anyone eat like this, or have advice about this?

p.s. where’s a good place to shop for natural foods?

You can shop for natural foods at your supermarket. If you know how to cook, only buy ingredients, like vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, milk, fruits, flours, beans, pasta, cheese, nuts, juice, etc.
Avoid processed foods and prepared meals and snack foods. Condiments are OK to buy, and whole wheat bread.
This way of eating is a good way to save money, if you are careful where you shop!
